Art of Life Cancer Foundation www.artoflifecancer.org conducts a "Paint It Forward" event for cancer survivors interested in expressing their journey through the visual arts. You can see a print of their creation at the Healing Garden at Woodward Park in Fresno, California. What follows is their artists' statement:
Love Flows
"When you are showered with a never ending love, the art of life is revealed in the simple everyday things. There is an art to slowing down, demonstrating love in tangible ways and expressing the words that often go unsaid. When you choose to grow and embrace the blessings, love flows, allowing cancer to bring out the best in all of us."
