While living in Salinas I had the opportunity to go to the ocean on a regular basis. The rhythm of the sea provided many hours of comfort as I walked along the sandy shores of nearby Monterey Bay. I've always been fascinated with the fact that the waves never stop coming; even after the sun goes down you can still hear the lapping of waves on the shore. I am forever grateful for the moments by the sea which reminded me of the truth that just beyond the horizon is a new wave forming, ready to bring goodness my way.
