In this image I repurpose some old prints into a new collage. The intaglio prints come from a work originally titled, "Found". I cut them and layer them with some spirals and textured papers to make a totally new image. While letting go of an old image; a new metaphor is revealed. Engaging in the creative process draws me to Mark Nepo's quote; "in order to stay fresh snd vital, we need to abandon, not what we have learned, but our identity as master of anything." By embracing new and uncertain explorations, we discover something vitally new!
